Shining Ballet Dance & Performance

Ballet
Ballet originated in the Renaissance court as an outgrowth of court pageantry in Italy, Aristocratic weddings were lavish celebrations. Court musicians and dancers collaborated to provide elaborate entertainment for them. Ballet was further shaped by the French ballet de cour, which consisted of social dances performed by the nobility in tandem with music, speech, verse, song, pageant, decor and costume. When Catherine de' Medici, an Italian aristocrat with an interest in the arts, married the French crown heir Henry II, she brought her enthusiasm for dance to France and provided financial support.

I had since then continue my dance training with the Royal Academy of Dance until the age of 24 as a qualified teacher with the academy.
After my completion of dance training with the academy , I was chosen as a dancer for a performance company in my home country - Malaysia. I started to work as a professional dancer as well as a ballet dance teacher.
I had taught children in various part of Asia included Singapore ,Malaysia and Hong Kong. I am currently teaching in London , it is a wonderful exposure to have a chance to work with children from different part of world. I am proud to work here as it has one of the best dance education in the world.
It is totally inspired as a dance lover to have teach dance creatively to young children and I hope that all my students would benefit the most as I did during my younger days.
Lastly, I am looking forward to see you all!
